Summerland residents join call to overturn gravel pit approval
Aug 28, 2024 · Residents and business owners in the Garnet Valley area of Summerland are disappointed with the province’s decision to approve a gravel operation in the area. An application notice from December, 2023 was for a gravel operation at 27410 Garnet Valley Rd. The notice was filed by Marcus Grymonpre, of 1440254 B.C. Ltd.

Summerland to scale back solar project - Summerland Review
Dec 14, 2021 · Summerland council has reduced the scope of its solar and storage project to keep it within budget. When the project had been approved in July 2020 and when the decision was reaffirmed in February 2021, the estimated cost was between $6 million and $7 million.
