Tone Control Modification - diyAudio
Sep 29, 2020 · I've decided to modify the tone control of my receiver; SAE TWO R9. The schemetics is on attached. The specs indicates tone control operates at 100 and 10kHz for bass and treble, respectively. I wish to modify the tone control to operate at 50 and 15kHz instead. Could anyone help to tell me which parts should I modify?

Aug 22, 2023 · Also, Yamaha amplifiers and receivers do quite some power up checks, e.g. I tried to disconnect the pre amplifier and power amplifier of the R-N802 once (to loop in a DSP later), this immediately causes the device to not startup anymore (looks like they send some test tones through the entire device and check the output during startup).

Sep 17, 2024 · R8, R9: Feedback resistor determines the output voltage. Output voltage is 2.495V/R9*(R9+R8) C1: Adj bypass capacitor for LM317. Can be as low as 0.22uF but the larger C1 is, the lower output noise will be. If C1 is larger than 4.7uF, during start up the output voltage will ramp up for extented period of time. This acts as a soft start.
