Washing knee wraps/wrist wraps? - Bodybuilding.com Forums
Jun 23, 2010 · My wrist wraps have chalk all over them and smell disgusting from sweat and I'm assuming that knee wraps are made from the same material. How do I wash them without compromising their function? Is it even possible? I found a similar thread on WBB, just want to know what you guys think.

Jun 8, 2014 · Hey guys, I was doing some research for my first pair of wrist wraps and I came across the Gangsta wraps but unfortunately they are not IPF legal/approved. I want to invest on a pair of wrist wrap that I can train in and use for my Powerlifting meet in the near future. I read that Inzer and Titan are the legal/approved brands.

Aug 28, 2013 · IMO wrist wraps are a worthless piece of equipment that allows people to not feel so bad about having a weak grip. If your grip can't outlast your larger muscle groups in a workout, you need to bring your grip up, not add a crutch to your regimen.

Mar 9, 2016 · @Synthethickiller: Wrist wraps can definitely have its place in low bar squats, even if you are doing everything right. I would rather avoid wrist tendinitis than go all black or white about it. If he's having pain w/ an open grip, something is wrong.

Oct 15, 2010 · Wraps help stabilize your wrist. They are use to help with pushing exercises. Straps are used to prevent your grip from giving out. They are used on pulling exercises. Using straps won't help you emphasize your forearms. They are used to work around a weak grip. If you want to work on your forearm go here:

Sep 12, 2018 · There are different types of wraps. I use Titan Max RPM's every time I bench for some mild wrist support. Similarly to knee sleeves it just maintains warmth/lubrication there. They aren't necessary, but I like them and they do help a little. Alternatively, I use SBD wrist wraps for heavy weight/competition.

Dec 12, 2009 · The set of 12 I use in training for lighter lifts I feel like I need the wraps for (previous minor wrist injuries playing baseball still cause a little discomfort without the wraps) and on squats. I have a set of 24" ones I use in training on my really heavy sets, and a set of 24" ones that are really stiff I save for competitions.
