Mar 26, 2015 · Personally, I have found that warlock/paladin multiclass has been a really fun character to play and was by no means hindered mechanically. Adding hex on melee and Agonizing Blast with eldritch blast keep it a consistently reliable damage dealer. Warlock spells, invocations, and class/pact features can make for a very survivable tank.

Reading through the Player's Handbook, I've noticed that the Sorceror, Warlock and Wizard classes can all take either an arcane focus or a component pouch. My understanding is that an arcane focus takes the place of the component pouch for most material requirements, so having the choice seems meaningless.
