This is a brief presentation designed to show some of the basic types of uniforms worn by U.S. Army soldiers. A couple of the more common specialist's uniforms are also included. The original WWII Army officer’s winter service uniform consisted of a dark olive-drab gabardine wool coat with a sewn-on cloth belt (greens) and light-shade drab trousers (pinks). The brim of the service cap and service shoes were Army russet brown.
