Jack Plate Recommendations - River Daves Place
Aug 12, 2021 · I want to install a Jack Plate on my 2021 Regency 250 DL3 with the 300 Verado. Which Jack Plate do you all recommend? The motor currently sits very low and rides wet. I want the ability to adjust as I want and not just using the bolt holes on the motor plate.

Aug 30, 2020 · I'm about to install a 25" Verado 300 on my 20" transom. Original plan was to use a jack Plate to compensate for the extra 5", but I'm afraid the weight and high torque output of the Verado will stress the transom to much.

I'm a 20 year Yamaha owner but a friend just repowered his 34 SeaVee from twin 300 hp supercharged Verado's to twin 300hp Verado V8's. If those new V8's prove reliable from a long term standpoint I believe they will prove to be one of the best outboard motors ever produced.

Feb 2, 2015 · The 300 is a standard production engine, it better last more than 400 hours with proper maintenance. Get an engine report from the CPUs and see if they have been ran real hard with a lot of time at WOT. They should last 700-1000 hours minimum.
