Apr 17, 2022 · Here you could "accumulate shadow" if you want, based on how many pixels you "hit" while tracing the light. Then you could store the accumulation in another "shadow texture" used in the final lighting calculations.

Nov 21, 2021 · From the top down perspective, it is as if the sun is to the south over your shoulders washing everything out, but the players/trees shadow is cast as if the sun is directly above the player. It may help with perspective if the grass tops are sun lit, but the south facing hill sides are cast in shadow.
