Jul 25, 2016 · Hey everyone, I'm considering changing my MIM HSS Strat's pots from 250k to 500k. The humbucker that is currently installed is a Seymour Duncan SH-6 Distortion, and I'm planning on switching the neck pickup to a Seymour Duncan SSL-2.

Oct 8, 2011 · I'd lean towards 500k pots. If I you go with the Tone Zone, I'd absolutely 100% go for 500k pots. If you go for the PAF Pro and if you use your singles a LOT, I'd consider 250ks, but I'd personally still go for the 500s.
