The Jets have a "default" uniform number, but it's custom to them in the fact that no one else uses the old Champion number font. Detroit has moved back to a block font as well, but it's not close to what the Jets have.

Aug 3, 2015 · Yeah I know it isn't technically an official font for them by it was the closest font to their wordmark. I should have been more clear with that font. I'll try to think of a symbol to use for fonts that are very similar but not officially the same.

Jersey City used the correct number font, but the wrong name font. I literally did not see one replica jersey that had both fonts correct.

Aug 29, 2011 · It was so someone couldn't buy a $5 jersey or shirt from Walmart, take it to his local screen printer and have authentic numbering put on. Other than possibly the Packers font with the notch in the 5, screenprinters could likely use any block without having to pay.
