Jan 23, 2022 · Most sodastream branded syrups have extra additives to increase shelf life and such. They will never taste as good as the real syrup. As Ocean_Snipe7 mentioned your best bet is to grab a bag-in-box of the official syrup and get a tap spout (many BIB vendors will toss in a free tap spout if you ask).

Sep 14, 2022 · Mountain Dew is essentially lemon-lime syrup mixed with a bit of orange juice (it was originally made to be mixed with moonshine/whiskey). You could try to make it at home. Or if you really like Mountain Dew, just look for a 2.5 gallon Bag-in-Box of the real commercial syrup.

Feb 24, 2023 · I know right, there's absolutely no mountain dew flavors directly from sodastream. I drink enough of it to buy a commercial one but those are like 100-160 USD and I don't think I'd drink it fast enough before it expired.

Dec 7, 2021 · Hi! Mixing flavors is my favorite thing to do. I like using essences on the diet colas and root beers to get the right flavor. Today I discovered that mixing orange/tangerine flavor with cherry Starburst flavor tastes exactly like Mountain Dew Code Red. What are your favorite mixes? I also love making a cactus cooler by adding pina colada to tang.
