Apr 3, 2011 · I saw a Snap On Mt2500 scanner on Craigs list. It only has the stuff needed to scan 80-98 domestic cars. In order to use it on anything else I would have to spend another $150-200 at least. It will scan OBDI and OBDII cars. Its the same scanner my local indy guy uses. Its scans and clears engine, tranny, abs and srs codes.

I have a MT2500 (Brick) with the BMW Primary Cartridge (2002), Vehicle Communications Interface MT25001202, and the BM-1 connector for the 20-pin diagnostic port. When connected, the scanner will communicate with the anti-lock brake logic module but it will not communicate with the engine DME (ECU).

Jul 28, 2015 · A used Snap-On MT2500 scanner with a BMW cartridge and 20 pin adapter in MUCH better and should be worth the +/- $300-$500 it will cost you. Condition is everything. For $500-$800 (or so) there are people that will sell a D600 (I think that is the correct model) with INPA and DIS loaded on it. That will get you MUCH deeper into the weeds in ...

Jun 13, 2011 · After wasting so much time installing these pirated softwares, none of them worked. I decided to buy an old snap on scanner MT2500 with bmw carthrage and 20 pin adapter. Now I can read OBD1 codes from EGS on my 1995 E34. Great tool, cost me $300

Jun 5, 2011 · Hey guys I bought a SnapOn Mt2500 scanner recently and its been great. It can scan OBDI or OBDII BMW's, It resets SRS lights and tells you which part is faulty, It scans ABS and Auto Trannies, It gives some (not a lot) live data on OBDI cars and a bit more on OBDII cars.
