Nov 4, 2023 · Respectfully, we obviously have different feeling towards the story. In my review, I focused on how Sakurai framed the narrative as a battle much bigger than just Sato and Kei. Ajin was about government corruption, oppression, minority vs majority political abuse, and other moral conflicts, all of which have direct relevance to the ending.

I wish we could get both an Ajin Season 3 that continues the anime original storyline and an Ajin Brotherhood that adapts the manga faithfully. Also, one thing that the latter could do to improve the series even beyond the manga is to have that one hamfisted, very important late game flashback happen in real time instead of being a flashback.

Sep 24, 2020 · Sato is amazing. Even though technically speaking he should be no more powerful than any other Ajin, he feels completely unstoppable. His terrifying presence is usually reserved for much more powerful villains in other manga, yet in Ajin he feels dominating purely from his experience and intelligence.

Aw man, sad to see Ajin go. I’ll miss sato and kei’s rivalry. Kinda hurts different, considering how many short chapters we got. But the ending was still satisfying. I’m definitely gonna have to reread, though. So many characters whose names i’ve forgotten, and even their roles in the story.

May 11, 2021 · Satou comes off as petty and vindictive in the anime, not to mention his unhealthy fixation on cutting Kei's head off (like the scenarists grasped at this threat as the ULTIMATE HORROR of any ajin ever as well as the only worthy plot development, and all anime-only fans were happy to follow).
