Oct 21, 2020 · Probably been done before. I had some time on my hands and two new oil filters. I decided to measure the oil intake holes on the Royal Purple 10-48 and compare to the Mopar Mo-339. Both fit the 2020 1500 Hemi 5.7 motor. The only reason I cared is because I figured the RP filter to be an upgrade to the Mopar brand.

May 10, 2018 · I ran Royal Purple / K&N Filter oil filter in a 2012 Chrysler 300 for about 50,000 miles before I traded it in for the Ram. I did change the oil at 3k religiously. I though the engine ran great with it. For the Ram I am not 100% sure which oil I am going to use. My FIL has always sworn by Pennzoil.

Aug 25, 2019 · I typically buy the stock filter from the RAM dealership before I do the oil change. I also keep the receipts for the oil/filter in a folder at home for warranty purposes. I have purchased the Fumoto oil drain valve which is quite awesome. The only issue is the location of the oil filter.

Nov 18, 2021 · i decided to do my first oil change early, around 2000 miles and to put in Penzoil Ultra Platinum with a Napa gold filter. did some research here and elsewhere, checked the manual, bought the oil and brought it to my fav oil change place. he said that you got the wrong oil. i said pardon? impossible. i look at the filler cap and it says 0 20.

(The 90 synthetic is OK here instead of the 85) Rear diff: Correct weight of a good oil, OEM or aftermarket is fine. If it calls for limited slip, add the Mopar additive. T-Case: OEM only.

Who puts out a product like this that uses an oil filter that is virtually not available months after model production is released, and when it is, only at price gauging levels. RAM could have easily used existing oil filters that were available and still profitable (as they are all overpriced).

Jun 19, 2020 · Does anyone have a diagram, photo of where I can access the oil filter on this model engine 2020 3.6L V6 Ram 1500 Looking to get this oil changed out but I can't for the life of me find where the filter is. Also if you know the fill capacity and oil filter part number I wouldn't mind having that as well to make sure all is correct before ordering.
