Every TV and both devices have me locked into the " Are you in a Hotel or Dorm do-loop". This is the second time in two years. You guys should add a setting in the Roku OS settings that will let us set a default App that loads when we turn our Roku on this way if we have a Live TV service like Spectrum TV, You Tube TV, Hulu TV, DircTV Stream we could set that App to load when we turn our TV On and it would automatically load that App.

Cannot find Roku app for TCL Google TV
Sep 2, 2024 · I recently purchased a TCL 75S551TG Google tv, and wanted to install the Roku app on it. No amount of searching shows the app being available for the tv. Both the TCL and Roku say show the app being available through Google Play but no such luck. Plugging in my ancient Roku stick to the hdmi port, but wanted to avoid going that route.

Mar 24, 2024 · Because it has a Gigabit Ethernet connection, I can play my ripped 4K movies easily. The only real shortcomings of the Shield is no support for YouTube HDR (Roku supports this), the AC-4 audio codec (found in ATSC 3.0 broadcasts, the Roku Ultra 480x supports it) and there's one other video codec that has slipped my mind.
