Feb 18, 2009 · for example if i press an item and its selected the height should be 2*normal height. i tried to reimplement sizeHint of QItemDelegate, but the sizeHint isnt catched dynamically. it seems its only used on initialising the view. I found no methods in QAbstractItemModel or QItemDelegate or QListView that could handle this. Any suggestions?

I had to add a custom tooltip object to my list view in order to show some information when the cursor is over some columns in the list view. For the other columns I want the default behavior, I mean show the tooltip with the cell text if the text is truncated.

Oct 2, 2017 · By the way, your code in ListViewPopulate is a memory leak. Each time the function executes, it creates a new list model and sets it on the view, but you never delete the old list model (listView->model()).
