Well there has been an issue for a long time on ps5 where shadows are removed for some reason and you can only fix it by opening your inventory. If this doesn't fix it, the issue might be with your HDMI cable (make sure you use HDMI 2.1 or newer) or it's with your TV. It’s your hdmi also make sure you’re using the 2.0 hdmi cable like the one that came with the unit.
