Oct 21, 2020 · Under controls there should be an option called "Toggle Cinematic Camera" If you bind that to a key, say H, and whilst zooming press H, then it should get rid of the deacceleration effect AKA Cinematic Camera.

Feb 18, 2014 · Alright, so go into your controls and fine your optifine is located at, whatever you have your original optifine zoom key as, find "Cinematic view" Then set that to what is closest to your optifine zoom key, then once you're done with that go into game zoom, and press the button you set as cinematic view. Sodium extra is something I’ve found that gives me all the optifine features without the shaders component and it runs very lightweight. Running lambdynamic lighting gets you dynamic lighting back.

This means that the Spyglass is 2.5x more zoomey then Optifine zoom! One more note: the third picture is without the overlay, achieved by pressing F1. With the overlay you can see the circle and restricts view quite a bit.

Jan 10, 2021 · Since you're on Forge 1.8.9 I'd highly recommend downloading Patcher it fixed a ton of things and let's you toggle a lot of new things, one of them being the optifine zoom cinematic camera, there should be a zoom category after you run /patcher in game, let me know if you're having any issues

Apr 6, 2021 · Optifine enables this whenever you zoom in, and turns it off when you zoom out. Unfortunately, (as far as I'm aware,) there's no in-game setting to disable this automatic behavior. But you can manually toggle the Cinematic Camera off while you zoom. Go to Controls and scroll to "Cinematic Camera" in Miscellaneous.
