Jan 19, 2019 · I feel the same way about modakawa. Their stuff is cute as FUCK but it's so expensive. It seems like items that shouldn't be very expensive cost like $60. Yet at the same time, I'm having a really hard time finding items that look the same on other sites. And when I do, the price point is usually similarly high.

Mar 2, 2021 · Modakawa is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Expensive. Misleading products. Things ship from Hong Kong so they take a month to get to you. Their customer service is a joke. Like a literal joke. They will not help you, they criticize you and there is no way of reaching anyone to actually talk to.

Feb 20, 2021 · Pretty sure they are just reselling aliexpress type stuff, if you want better quality I'd recommend looking at Japanese alt brands instead as that's what a lot of their stuff seems to be based on. Is there particular items you're interested in so I can give better recommendations? Modakawa seems to have a lot of different styles lol

Nov 14, 2022 · I think modakawa would be your best bet, they’re not “a scam” they’re just like most fast fashion e commerce brands. The items might not be the highest quality ever and will probably take a while to come in, and if you have any problems with the order customer service probably won’t be the best.
