I guess with this cooler weather, I was just thinking more about fried chicken for Sunday dinner. And, of course, the gravy does NOT go on the chicken. Aug 1, 2011 · Looks like the Fagor Pressure Magic and the Fagor Marine are the same item with different names. I have used my Marine to pressure fry chicken. It was the best I ever cooked at home. I soaked the chicken in buttermilk and double floured it, let it dry a bit and then fried it up per instructions for the pressure fryer. Crisp outside, juicy inside.

Jun 7, 2003 · Don't crowd the pan. You need to keep the temperature up as much as possible. The heavy pot, shortening to chicken ratio, and the smaller size of the pieces help you out here. A burner with a lot of BTUs is a good thing. (For a lot of chicken I use a propane burner and a REALLY BIG deep fry pan thing.)

Then I add about 1 1/4 cup of chicken stock and 1 generous cup of Pace Chunky Salsa. Cook on high pressure for 5 or 6 minutes.
