Feb 14, 2014 · yeah, you'd still have heat without the ac cycling. & i'd imagine the a/c system is near identical on all rangers (withing respective generations of course lol) and yeah, i believe the a/c is designed to cycle in all settings except 'dash only' & 'feet only'... i think lol _____

I suspect if the suggested periodic maintenance is performed (oil & filter changes, synthetic oil, functional thermostat, normal driving) the improved components should last at least 200K miles.
