Aug 31, 2024 · The story of Europe began in 1979, when guitarist John Norum, vocalist Rolf Joakim Larsson, bassist Peter Olsson and drummer Tony Reno formed the band Force. Larsson, aged just 15, had joined them from another Stockholm group called Roxanne, and already had the stage name Joey Tempest.
