What exactly is Death Note: Relight? : r/deathnote - Reddit
Jun 7, 2022 · Not really worth checking out. It has the L monster scene from the manga, the graveyard scene and the really, really stupid Light Yagami Shinigami scene that made this horrible theory show up, but aside from that it's not anything specail.

Oct 24, 2020 · The plot doesn't really change, but I think they're still worth watching. There are extra scenes that were not in the anime and scenes that are done differently from how they were done in the series. If you watch them, be sure to watch Relight 2 through to the end of the credits. Also, Relight 2 has more changes and additions than Relight 1 does.

If not I’ll give you a rundown; The relight is different viewpoints following the same storyline and with added scenes. The start features a Shinigami that hasn’t been shown before looking for Ryuk.

Just finished binge watching Death Note. Loved the overall theme of the show, the characters, and the story but it does drop off pretty hard at some points and doesn't fully rebound IMO. Is it worth watching the two Relight episodes or no?

Dec 27, 2020 · I think it's more like extra scene or reimagined situations or scenes that didn't make it into the death note than actual changes to the anime. I would watch it but not because you want to know more about Death Note. It's kind of like watching the live-actions - you watch because it's there and you love Death Note.

May 5, 2022 · Death Note ReLight are indeed nothing more than TLDW of the anime with few new and alternate scene. Death Parade is a good show, go in blind for best effect. Light being a shinigami is a theory, nothing more. Raito is Light's name.

Dec 14, 2014 · Watch the original. Relight is essentially the entire series except compounded into 2 movies. If you watch the movies, you're essentially getting the whole plot spoonfed to you in one sitting and then if you ever want to go back and watch the story, it's going to seem boring since you know all the spoilers and the entire story.
