You can hear the epicness build up throughout the entire track. For how beloved O&S are i believe this theme is quite underrated. 2. Longing aka end credits song (DS2)

Oct 21, 2021 · Brother, the harpies in Ds1 have the same exact sound effect as the dog birds in Bloodborne. They have two different music directors so the music is all over the place. There’s no motif or “dark souls theme” to unify the songs of each game or even the series. Hence why everyone should be exited for Elden Ring.

Which game has the best overall soundtrack, in your opinion
Dark Souls 1 had great variety and miscellaneous (menu, ending, Firelink, Ash Lake, Daughter of Chaos, Gwynevere) themes, but the boss music was a bit hit-or-miss. Looking back at it I only think Gwyn, O&S, Sif, Artorias and Kalameet are true standouts.
