The color of your house on the map just indicates that you are in a service interruption. Your house would normally appear in black color if you were not experiencing a service interruption.

Today of course zero people affected but yesterday I,m sure there were many but there was no indication on the map I know from years back the map showed the area that was affected in red so yo could get an idea of how vast the outage was.

The outage map is STILL showing that my address has service and the only option available to me to in the xfinity app is to schedule another tech to come out to test my equipment and wiring again just to tell me that it's a service outage in the area.
