Does International run the 6.4 in any of their trucks?
Dec 17, 2007 · The 6.0's which had their share of problems in fords had much less in international trucks. I'm betting the 6.4 in a much bigger truck will somehow last much longer.....now go figure. Sort of slightly off topic but we used to own R-600 and DM-600 Mack trucks with I think 275 and 300 hp with 5+1 trannies.

Jul 20, 2009 · If the class 7 day cab (second picture) again a Cummins N-14 or Cummins M-11. Same longevity information applies. The Series 60 Detroit Diesels seemed to need inframed a lot more often than the Cummins, usually around 650-700,000 miles. I would stay away from the V-6 and V-8 Detroit Diesel engines in older trucks.

Jun 4, 2010 · I'm shopping for a 1-ton pickup. Used Ford F-350s for sale outnumber Chevy, GMC and Dodge combined by 10 to 1 around here. I REALLY want a diesel, and the best deals seem to be on the 2003-2005 F-350s with the 6.0L Powerstroke. Mileage is anywhere from 100K to 150K. Of course, the 6.0L has a reputation, but I'm pragmatic.
