Because if I cosplay for me then it’s less stressful and fun even if I get laughed at or someone doesn’t like the cosplay I am doing. If I cosplay for me then I have more fun and can laugh off those who do not like my cosplay.

Can I just say the idea of 'bad cosplay' isn't something I believe in. Everybody can cosplay in different ways whether it's simple or complicated, some have a basic skill level, others have been doing it for years. The fact you put the effort into showing others what you like is something that should be praised.
