Feb 16, 2017 · The original poster's problem was that he had turned the throttle control to the idle setting and had not reset to max throttle for his next cleanup. At the max throttle setting his machine operated perfectly.

Oct 14, 2019 · Clicking up to the high speed throttle setting, the engine barks to life and pulls as it should. This seems like the governor system keeps it from over revving, but the throttle control spring is sticking or doing something just not quite right. Or do the Deluxe 24 and 28 machines behave like this?
New Ariens 28 Deluxe just assembled with lots of issues
Oct 30, 2019 · I just purchased a new 28 Deluxe from Home Depot and assembled last night. It has a lot of issues, but probably all related. When started, with both handles out (not squeezed), the auger turns and the wheels rotate. I can't stop it other than turning it off.
