Feb 5, 2012 · 89 Wrangler new ford Carb Timing is OFF Hey can anyone tell me the correct timing adjustment after the MC Ford Carb install..on my 89 Wrangler w/ 4.2 motor...I am backfiring and poor low speed accelleration, fine at higher speeds no more doggin.....a friend set timing but its not right.. Carb from Ebay Seller went very well though....

Resetting Proportioning valve | Jeep Enthusiast Forums
May 16, 2014 · I am about to replace the front brake line because it was broken when i bought the jeep. I have read on forums that to reset the proportioning valve you just stomp on the brakes and it will pop back to neutral position. I also have read on these forums that the black rubber cap on the front of the proportioning valve is a cover for a reset switch.

Feb 19, 2008 · If the JEEP OWNER goes thru this, Nutter, upgrade or change I would also recommend upgrading the cap, rotar, coil, and plug wires. I noticed you pics used the OEM Jeep grey distributor cap. This change gave me 2.5 mpg inprovement with out changing a single thing. This is often refered to as TeamRush Upgrade.
