Jul 31, 2014 · Well, I had a different experience. I have an 08 JK with only 35,000 miles. I spent a week on the beach with Jeep in 4wd. I was on the way off the beach, and the ETC light comes on, and the throttle worked on its own, like it was on cruise control. I got back on the paved board, and into 2wd. I shut the Jeep down, and cycled the ignition switch.

Jan 9, 2022 · Firstly little background, have 08 jku with 105000 miles. Sounds good and is why bought it about month two months ago. Then it went downhill quick. Drove it about week when engine light came on. Got it checked and found few codes biggest being cylinder 3 misfire. Others were o2 sensor and cat showing low voltage.

Feb 18, 2022 · Never got around to having 2 weeks to live without my Jeep, and I am VERY HAPPY it worked out that way. The C2200 eventually started to stay cleared. Christmas tree lights stayed cleared too! My brakes, traction control operate fine and no more issues with it. It's like it fixed itself over a long period of time, several months.

Dec 11, 2012 · My 2008 wrangler is throwing out a P0455 evap leak code. Theres been for awhile, almost a knocking sound from octane levels which seemed to go away with an additive i put in. Knocking seemed to go away, by the end of the tank it was running well.

Oct 24, 2021 · I was scanning one day to see why a CEL had appeared. I found errors on all four o2 sensors, the EGR plus my a/c clutch wasn’t working. So my first conclusion was it likely wasn’t the items themselves as for all to fail at the same time would be like winning a lottery. The Jeep wasn’t happy and was not running very good.
