Jun 6, 2024 · Speaking of challenge, it's just much more challenging in general in a good way. After 3, Yakuza games got far too easy in my opinion. PS2 challenge is good. Kiwami 2 is the easiest/fastest platinum of the series iirc. The Host Club minigame, where Kiryu serves as the host and helps manage the Host bar.

Jun 8, 2021 · Personally, Yakuza 0 hooked me from the start, and never let go, but I understand that my own subjective experience with the game is not going to mirror someone else's. Just keep going, and hope the game grabs you. If it doesn't, no big deal, not every game with acclaim behind it is going to resonate with you.

Jan 14, 2021 · Oh most definitely. I played through 4-5-6 and then finally found a ps3 copy of 3. It was just unplayable. The Jank, the story (even for a yakuza game it was unintentionally hilarious). Dropped it after 4 hours. Kiwami games are the some of most polished yakuza out there in terms of combat and movement , I highly doubt you will enjoy 3 after those.

Jan 29, 2020 · Kiwami (and Yakuza 1 in general) have the worst substories aside from the new ones added to Kiwami that weren't in the first game. Every other game will have strong substories. The only hitches are the hostess substories in Yakuza 3. There are too many and it is a major grind getting all 10 of them.

Basically its an initiation thing. But really, its just random RPG battles.
