Nov 3, 2023 · That last act is some of the most dramatic and tension packed 20 minutes I've seen. Watching Cillian struggling to move in that space suit knowing that a simple lip on a doorframe could be the doom of all humanity was brilliant filmmaking and acting. Sunshine is definitely in the top ten movies I've rewatched the most.

None of which include the films interesting tension filled first 2 acts, stand out score by John Murphy, or stellar performances by the cast. I'm a big fan of final frontier films and this tops the chart. Until recently, space odyssey, interstellar although the mainstream ones but thus far the most enjoyable. Shoutout to event horizon, there was one with James Spader, another one where a team goes to space to destroy an asteroid. Sunshine was an absolute banger.
