Jan 23, 2022 · 5900X Overheating. Introduction. After about a year of working normally, my 5900X has recently started to overheat at idle (60-70C) with the MSI CoreLiquid 360R in the Meshify C. I don’t remember installing any programs or updates around this time - in fact I think it started while I was in the middle of using the computer.

The 5000 series CPUs are still really good. The issue with getting the 5900x is that it is more a desktop workload cpu than a gaming cpu; it games slightly better than both the 5800x or 5700x, but not to a degree where it’s worth it. We’re talking about a 5% difference at best, with most games tying in performance.

Hitman 3 in 4k with DLDSR and DLSS balanced and frame gen-120+ fps. Forza Horizon 5 4k DLDSR DLAA 110 fps, with frame gen i get 140+ FPS. Assassin's Creed Mirage also runs great in 4k with DLSS quality or balanced. Overall i really like my 4080 and 5900x, i think it's beast combo that'll run great for years.

May 28, 2022 · According to Noctua TDP Chart the Redux has a TDP rating of 129 Watts. Your 5900X Processor's TDP is 105 Watts. So your CPU Cooler should be adequate enough for normal computer use but most likely under very heavy loads the processor's temperature might be in the high 80c and possibly up to or past 90c.

06-13-2021 05:08 PM. It's been a week since I encountered these errors. I ended up sending the 5900X back for a refund and purchasing another from a different company. I haven't had a single blue screen in the week that I've had my new 5900X, which tells me it was the processor. Glad to finally have this fixed.

Dec 29, 2021 · In idle, the CPU is around 35 °C. Under load, the CPU quickly rises to around 60 °C. "Quickly" as in a minute. It'll then slowly rise a bit more to like 65 °C (gaming) or 70 °C (CPU-rendering in Blender). The weird thing is that the liquid doesn't feel warm.
