May 22, 2011 · It's been 7 months since my rotator cuff surgery. They repaired a small tear and took out a bone spur arthroscopically. I am in even more pain and discomfort than before the surgery. I do the PT excercises and rest for a few days when I feel more pain. I don't have the pain when I do some of the exceises.

The pain has gotten progressively worse, I've been through PT twice and had several cortisone injections. I've also had symptoms similar to a rotator cuff injury although the MRI didn't show anything.

Oct 26, 2014 · It was only 1 hr 45 minutes long and the worst part was the nausea coming out of the anesthesia. It turned out that I had not only a torn rotator cuff tendon, but also the bicep tendon was torn in half and the labrum was split in two. It turned out that I had a fairly large bone spur that was in no doubt contributing to the level of damage.

Oct 31, 2013 · - Bone spurs can grow any time and tear up the cuff. I cannot imagine cortisone doing anything to help that situation (tears caused by an impinging spur) but maybe it was inflammation for some reason.

Aug 21, 2015 · Re: Rotator cuff surgery I was told to shower straightaway as the dressing was waterproof but to be honest I was pretty nervous about this and bathed before I showered as I felt more in control. Even now,washing my hair over a bath tub is easier than washing it in the shower as the extended arm movement is a bit uncomfortable.
