Jan 7, 2013 · Go to any head shop and buy a press for 40$ 1" ss, last a life time and produces enough pressure to get the job done. Couple tips, get some coconut oil and put a very light coat on the bottom and top of the press, you don't need much at all. This will keep it from sticking to the mold. Coconut oil will not go rancid like other oils.

Aug 17, 2010 · Yeah I would agree on not pressing it when it is wet. A slight bit of moisture can be OK IMO, but it needs to be more or less dry if and when you press it. I usually do a very light hand press on mine, forming into aprox 3 gram balls after it has dried for a while, to get that nice, slow, dry and cure at the end that I shoot for.

Jul 9, 2022 · I have a pre made little press about your size. I hand screw and dream of a simpler life but have too much to do anything. No one, no one has hash anymore. I use screens to dry sift and move remains to ISO. Enjoy ! For those not mechanically inclined you get more pressure with smaller sizes. My press is less than a dime size.

I think that it is protected from the air because of it’s smaller surface area, and in the case of squidgy-types, the glands are already burst and reconstituted. Polm or pollen-press types are made of intact glands, so perhaps these shouldn’t be frozen, I don’t know
