What are some MUST have series for a manga collector?
For shonen I'd say One Piece because the manga is a one of a kind, better than most/all of its adversaries, and it's anime turns to garbage so you need the manga for the full experience. For seinen I'd recommend anything by Naoki Urasawa. Monster, Pluto, 20th century boys, etc. He is the greatest writer in the manga world for me personally.

I track manga, books, DVDs/Blu-rays, CDs, and video games with this app. It's so nice to have everything in one place, and the barcode scanner has been such a help. It does take a while to intially scan in all of your collection(s), but it's so worth it, in my opinion.

Is there a manga tracking app or website you like to use?
I use Goodreads since I can keep track of normal books as well. goodreads pre solid as it registers volumes. Whakoom is a manga tracking app and it has support for many publishers from many countries. I use a google spreadsheet that mangatama created found here. Very easy to customize to my liking.
