Oct 28, 2013 · I am getting ready for the winter months, I was wondering what is the best way to store breathable waders? I have mine in the garage right now hanging. Should I bring them in the house to keep them out of the cold or just fold them up and put them in the bag that they came in and keep them in garage? let me know what is the best practice.

I hang the loop on the center hook and then clamp the coated clips out on the side. the front of the waders has plastic loops for hanging clippers or tippet tenders, I use those to clamp the other hanger onto the waders.

I have, however, carried waders/boots before that too, so I have some experience to rely on here. Best was a small backpack. Of course you run the risk of the bag not making it but there’s very little chance you’ll be able to get everything you want as carry on. Otherwise get patagonia packable waders…best travel waders ever. But you need good layers underneath…they will not keep you warm.
