Feb 18, 2008 · I just did a test of Jet Pro SofStretch vs. Iron All transfer paper on canvas tote bags. See the thread on transfer paper testing. I used JPSS at 375 for only 15 seconds, and it transferred GREAT! Full color, NO "dotting" where the raised areas of the canvas show through, like what happened with IronAll.

My usual suppliers have the following: Vivid Flex Chemica The chemica range has a lot of different vinyls, I was looking at the Hotmark and at the Firstmark. The Firstmark is much cheaper than the others. What are your thoughts?

May 8, 2012 · I am attempting to use a heat press for Tri-Blend shirts. I am pressing 50/25/25 (Poly, Cotton, Rayon) blends Bella + Canvas Brand. My transfers are 375-400 degree plastisol with med / heavy pressure at only 5 seconds. These transfers look amazing and have a super soft hand on 50/50 shirts and 100% cotton...but I am scorching the Tri-blends ...

Jan 23, 2023 · The temps and times I played around with were anywhere from 320-385 F and 10 sec (increments) - 60 seconds (straight). The cooling time I played around with also, from a 1 minute cool to a 10 hour cool before peel. The shirts I use are 100% Cotton White Bella+Canvas Short Sleeve. Any advice and help would be amazing.

Aug 3, 2013 · However, in the past few weeks, the HTV isn't sticking. I buy Siser EasyWeed from Specialty Graphics - same as I've used since Day 1. I also buy their Specialty Glitter, but I am having more issues with the EasyWeed than anything. I am using 100% cotton tshirts - mostly Comfort Colors, some Gildan/Fruit of the Loom.

Aug 14, 2007 · When I press HTV I use 2 pressings, the second one with a Teflon sheet after I have taken the carrier material off this sets it so that it won't release after a wash/dry cycle and it makes it set into the fabric more. And I use thermoflex plus. I haven't had any returns or complaints. My customers know going in that I am using HTV.

Oct 18, 2023 · the htv will not melt if it is decent quality in normal wash/dry cycles (see this thread) do a few smaller designs (6"x6") on a new unwashed blank tee (just like you would sell), with different settings (time/temp/pressure)

Feb 26, 2019 · Basically your temp. & time depends on the type of ink(low temp cure inks) used and timing used, in case of PC garment, you've to keep the temp and time lowest as possible to the point where only your ink get cured coz if you overrun these setting it will possibly sublimate in 7-10 days completely.

can i print an image on HTV using sublimation ink
Dec 27, 2018 · Standard white HTV is made from polyurethane and can accept sublimation inks. Some of the problems you may have are: 1. You can't print directly to the vinyl as the top surface is under the clear carrier sheet. 2. You can print on sublimation paper, then lay your transfer over the pre-pressed vinyl and press it again.
