Estroven....Still having Hot Flashes and Night Sweats ANY …
Nov 5, 2009 · Hi there, I just started Estroven on Friday and I noticed the same thing. While I am doing well without the nausea, acid reflux, stomach problems, diarrhea and vomiting that the HRT drugs (such as Premarin, Vivelle Dot, Evamist and Divigel) caused, I am still dealing with night sweats and some hot flashes as well.

Sep 27, 2006 · I took estroven too, but stopped it for a month, and took the Andrew Lessman Women's Wellness Natural Hormone Balance from HSN. Neither took my hotflashes away..I had a total hysterectomy Dec. 2004...can't take hormones due to Fibrocystic breasts.

Jan 2, 2008 · Estroven is over the counter and comes in regular strength, extra strength and a PM variety. I find extra-strenght works better for me as it has more black cohosh which is really effective with hot flashes.

I had my TAH/BSO on 1/3/03, and will not use HRT because of endo. However, the Dr. did OK a natural supplement such as Estroven. I did not take the Estroven long enough to notice a benefit from the supplement, but I did notice a 10 lb. weight gain :-0 !! This may be a coincidence, but I thought I'd ask if others had a similar reaction.

It also has Black Cohosh for hot flashes. If you are having specific menopausal symptoms, I'm sure that many of our sisters can share with you what has worked for them.
