Mar 5, 2019 · I dosed a 120G tank that was 3 years mature with 1ml per gallon of 3% peroxide for 7 days. Cynobacteria was eliminated as were a healthy population of amphipods & copepod. Micro stars, spaghetti worms, Bryozone, macro algae and GHA survived and thrived. Peroxide is not a magic cure for inadequate maintenance.

I also dose pods weekly, not that I have to as they are established but we always harvest a little extra for that last minute order and whatever we don’t ship goes to our babies.

Mar 19, 2019 · I have Dino's from a lack of nutrients in my tank. My phos was 0 a d my nitrates barely detectable. That is not only not good for coral health but the perfect condition for dino's. Balancing phos and nitrates is the number one method to get rid of dino's. That is my purpose for dosing because over feeding the tank is an unreliable method.
