May 24, 2022 · I saw that bandlab just added a new feature where we can share our custom vocal presets. I use the SAME vocal presets for all my songs & i ALSO apply it to any vocal collabs (with EQ adjustments based on voice pitches)

Bandlab - A GarageBand alternative for PCs ( including Linux)
Jan 14, 2024 · Bandlab is a great alternative to GB. For an online DAW, personally I prefer SoundTrap. It's a freemium service, but the free version does everything BandLab does, I think, and the instruments are better. That last part is of course entirely subjective. Not sure about how the audio recording compares, because I only work with MIDI.
Is there a way to duplicate an entire project in Bandlab?
Mar 9, 2021 · Apparently you can duplicate projects if you do it from edu.bandlab.com, but you have to have the forks enabled. Edit: Since quite some people are coming for this (me included). Remember that you can't make a bandlab.com account if you made it first edu.bandlab.com Or at least I think you couldn't do it.

Dec 31, 2022 · Good points here. Also the OP might want to check that bandlab hasn't trimmed the start of any audio when importing. I think this is a glitch that bandlab don't seem to have fixed yet. Sometimes a fractional amount of the audio mysteriously gets trimmed from the start of one added audio track and not the other causing sync issues.

Oct 9, 2020 · Even though Bandlab asks for the permission to use the microphone, behind the scenes Windows isn't actually allowing it, and hence, No Device is displayed whenever you select a device. Goto Windows > Settings and type in microphone.

Nov 17, 2020 · Hello, I actually had the same problem on Soundtrap that caused my switch to BandLab. Try making a copy of the project, turning off computer mixing, or manually recreating this project. Hope this helps!

Feb 16, 2022 · The latency test only allows Bandlab to measure and know how much this latency is, so that it can at least align the recorded takes correctly. As suggested by others, if you are using bluetooth headphones you'd better switch to wired ones, bluetooth latency is simply too high for such uses as live monitoring.
