We recently took a 2004 Mach 1 in on trade at my dealership (Harley davidson) On the title it just says 2004 mustang. Is there a way to truly tell it’s a Mach 1 by the vin? It has the badge on the back, it has a 40th anniversary emblem on the sides, the valve covers are aluminum.

The hood I am leaning towards is the VICREZ one since I think it has nicer lines with the large bulge lines moved towards the center section like the GT500 OEM hood. One of the things that bothered me with the facelifted hood was the large bulge on the sides for the stock hood.

Jan 31, 2024 · So I was looking through Facebook market and found a Mach 1 that is being parted out. The hood is still available for $500 and looks pretty good. I got a GT so the Mach 1 hood would just leave a big hole in the hood, but I figured what if I put in a window in it. It would be like the C6 Corvette ZR1 hood that allows you to see the supercharger.
