iPadOS 15 RAM Limits: It's Not Just About A Single Application
Jun 8, 2021 · Google Drive apps in particular are much better to use on this bigger screen, and I can use the Safari versions as necessary too without losing my spot anywhere else. I think some of the unsexy under the hood changes in iPadOS 15 have potential to really speed up workflow even given the disappointing omissions.

iPadOS 15 + Encrypted APFS drives, is this supposed to work?
Feb 6, 2009 · iPad Pro M1, running iPadOS 15.2 + USB-C SSD, formatted with APFS (Encrypted) I could have sworn that I used this combination and had the drive show up in the files app. I’ve tried reformatting the drive in APFS (non-encrypted) and it shows up just fine in the files app, but the moment I format it in Encrypted, it fails to show up on the sidebar.

Apr 10, 2022 · I did the upgrade from 14.8.1 to 15 when it dropped but as soon as I realized how they'd compromised the screen grid spacing, I was able to downgrade the next day back to 14.8.1 and that's where I am still. Now we're up to 15.4.1 and I'm wondering if there is anything about this current OS that would make an upgrade worthwhile.

Jun 8, 2021 · I know we're still in beta, so hopefully they fix this. iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 were already letdowns, don't make it worse with what looks like taking the iPhone's Display Zoom feature and just slapping it into iPadOS 15 without seeing how bad the results look. Apple's Batteries widget surely won't ship like this, they'll fix the spacing.

Sep 24, 2021 · Well, im using ipad 6 32gb as my main device now, and ipados 15 give us really nice features. Same like you, im using ipad mainly for note taking, writing, then photo editing and some video editing. If you asking me what will be missing out, of course the quick note feature, its really changed the game for me.

His comment on it was basically along the line of: these things have such clear capabilities in terms of hardware to replace a laptop.

Apr 8, 2014 · Hello. Does anyone else have broken favicons in iPadOS 15 Safari tabs? Very often my tabs are showing completely the wrong icon. Along with the My First Sidebar, Safari these days is a total embarrassment. Might start using betas in the hope of improved stability ?
