AC not blowing cool air on 2008 Honda Civic. - Edmunds
I have a 2008 Honda Civic which blows cold hair at first and then starts blowing warm air. I have already replaced the AC Switch, The compressor is running fine, there its no leaks, and I have replaced the freon and checked the the freon pressure and it is still full.

Mar 1, 2007 · The timing belt you get at the Honda dealership is the same belt made by "Gates" with the Honda logo on it. You just pay a much cheaper price at O'Reilly Auto Parts or your local store. Do your best to buy genuine Honda parts as much as possible such as thermostats, water pump, belt tensioner, especially the head gasket.

There was no unanimous agreement, though quite some people had the same complain. The last 6 cars I own are 3 Toyota and 3 Honda, including a 2001 Civic LX Auto. It's very obvious that Toyota is doing a better job in AC department. But I must admit that Honda is making progress. I think the AC in the current Civic is OK under 90-100F Calif sun.

It's really cool-looking car! I browsed the UK site and it seems to have the same specs as the U.S. Civic Si. However, the Type-R is much better looking! I live in the desert and recently purchased an 07 Honda Civic Hybrid. Since I purchased the vehicle, the higest MPG I have achieved is 40 (cool weather and highway driving for that tank of gas). Mostly I get beween 30-33 mpg--I vary city and highway driving in a large city.
