Dec 11, 2021 · I also tested the two hatch pinch sensors on the sides of the hatch to keep from finger pinches. They both appeared to work correctly. I also tried adjusting the four bumpers to see if they were out of wack.

Mar 21, 2019 · You can physically move the hatch to position where you want it to stop when open, and then hold down the button to reprogram the height (beeps a few times when done). I would try that first and see if it resets.

Apr 5, 2012 · We can restrict the rear trunk opening by pushing it manually to a safe height and then holding down the close button on the rear hatch to save that setting. And that fixes the hatch for that location.

It sounded like a piece of plastic vibrating at a high pitch, anything over 60mph would make it consistent, and loud. In my trunk, I found a piece of plastic (not sure what it is for), but taped it over this morning. Noise is gone.

Aug 30, 2018 · Make sure you have a helper as I had to prop the kind of heavy hatch on my head while I was making adjustments. It would be preferable to remove the gas strut on the side you are working with, then have someone hold the weight of the hatch while you very slightly adjust the fitment and then re-snug the bolts and check the alignment.
