Feb 18, 2008 · I need the belts for a Harbor Freight Central Machinery 13 " drill press.Model 38142.They are marked "HAIMEN V-BELT" and then "M24" & "HAIMEN V BELT M26 I am told.The M24 & M26 numbers correspond with the numbers in the Manual.Perhaps 2 "M25" belts would do.The company is on the opposite coast in the USA.They are out of stock and expect a 2-6 week wait before receiving any.Does anyone know of ...

Jan 20, 2009 · Because of the reinforcing cords which carry the tension in the belt which transmits the power needed, it needs to be joined in a similar way to a conveyore belt. The join is made as a "v", exposing the cords of 1 ply to the bottom of the cord. a similar cut is done for each ply.

Probably the best thing to do here I guess is to loosen up v-belt to set just enough traction to the pulley, so the 2 motors will find its own synchronization, right? No wonder, v-belts are used instead of gears and chains. Kinda more like the below. It keeps tripping the generator.
