The previously abandoned European Super League is now making headlines once again, this time as the newly named Unify League.

The new Super League idea still has no extra clubs, and now needs Uefa approval for that to change. Therein lies one of the circular issues for the rebranded “ Unify League ”, that has brought football right back around, albeit with declining interest.

The company behind the controversial European Super League idea has tweaked its proposal once more, completely scrapping the original closed-shop format, in a bid to make it more attractive to clubs and fans.
