Last night’s matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets offered yet another glimpse of this intensity, as Westbrook playfully confronted Jalen Green’s trash talk. After the two exchanged laughs, Westbrook delivered a sharp, lighthearted jab directed at Green and the Rockets coaching staff:

Getting into a bit of a war of words with Rockets' Jalen Green was yet another reminder that Nuggets guard Russell Westbrook is getting old.

Westbrook's latest triple-double serves as a reminder that he's found a comfortable spot with a Nuggets team that runs through Nikola Jokić.

After recording 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, Westbrook is averaging 13.2 points, 6.8 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 38 games this season. Westbrook has started 17 games for Denver and is averaging 15.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists in those contests.

Jalen Green was excellent and started feeling himself during the game, apparently trash-talking Nuggets' guard Russell Westbrook. The veteran Westbrook was confused after the trash-talk, going over to the Rockets bench and telling them about how Green played for his AAU team and is now trash-talking him.
