Some people might be obsessed with time, but Mariah Carey thinks the concept is nothing more than a thing of fantasy. In a recent interview with Capital FM posted Monday (June 16), the superstar once again stated how she refuses to acknowledge the passage of time.

Carey has let go clocks, apparently, as well as the concept of marking her birthday. “I don’t have a birthday, no,” she said. “Anniversaries, yes.” For those of us on Mariah time, Carey has celebrated 56 anniversaries of rotating around the sun.

Mariah Carey has shed light on why she pays no attention to the concept of time, and destroyed our brains in the process. The All I Want For Christmas singer has made her feelings on getting older very clear over the years, and previously declared that she only celebrates her ‘anniversaries’.
