The Denver Broncos' offense took a big step forward in 2024, but it became clear that the team needed to surround young quarterback Bo Nix with more talent in the offseason. A recent seven-round NFL mock draft from the Pro Football Network has the Broncos doing just that.

The former Pinson Valley High School and Auburn QB ranked No. 9 with a 25-yard touchdown pass on a fourth-and-1 snap with eight seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 28. The Bengals beat the Broncos 30-24 in overtime.

The Denver Broncos have been searching for a very specific position the last two years. Some would say it's the tight end position, others would just say more weapons for Bo Nix. Sean Payton calls it the "joker" position.

Despite Sean Payton believing that they are "stronger" in the wide receiver room than most people expect, the Denver Broncos still need a dynamic playmaker or two to drastically change how that room operates and produces on the field.
