A three-person mixture of unknown DNA was found under a 21-year-old University of Idaho student’s fingernails after she and three other students were killed at an off-campus home in November 2022, a new filing reveals.

One of the coeds butchered at the University of Idaho in 2022 had DNA from three different people under her fingernails, according to bombshell newly unsealed court documents. However, lawyers for murder suspect Bryan Kohberger say a test to match the traces to their client came back with inconclusive results.

Bryan Kohberger’s defense team said an investigator discovered DNA evidence from three individuals under victim Maddie Mogen's fingernails. They also may ask a judge to take the death penalty away as an option for their client by citing autism spectrum disorder.
